bcz insome PC internet will work without useing Proxy

hi Linglom,

I have a old server running ISA 2006 and have a plan to migrate to a new hardware. I have installed ISA 2006 standard edition on new hardware and imported all policies from old server to new server. Also my clients uses ISA client and they connect through that. Apart from that, there is a WPAD entry on my DHCP server which provides pointer information about by ISA machines. Is that needed to change back the information on WPAD entry to my new server name. What exactly WPAD do as i have ISA client installed on user machines and they connect to ISA through that for accessing internet

Thanks for your nice guide.. I successfully configured ISA server 2006 Enterprise edition in my network by using ur guide… I configured ISA as Edge Firewall.. and client as Secure NAT… I configured all clients as Secure NAT client for one particular reason.. Now my problem is i feel my web surfng is not so speed compared to without ISA environment.. i heard that Secure NAT client not use the Web cache memory.. So i need to slove this prob by convert r redirect SecureNAT packets to web proxy packet…. I don’t need the client side changes soluton… i need only ISA server side changes solution…. Plz reply me soon

I have passed all 4 steps and i used SecureNAT client type but my server lost internet connection and clients don’t detect or ping the server. Please help me.

and also i have create access rule for http, https, and dhcp request and dhcp reply and dns and dns server but still users cant access internet and my server have 2 NIC card and i dont know which one is for incoming and which one is for out to switch

Host not found could be some DNS problem. Can you describe your network configuration? Did you created rule to allow DNS query to DNS server?
